Widrow runs on the Digital Employee Framework. This page says where your data runs, who else touches it, what the platform holds that you do not already have elsewhere, and what happens if you leave, or if we do.
What we hold, and what we do not
Your Company Knowledge is a one-way synced copy of sources you already own: your website, SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or files you upload. The originals stay where they live, so Widrow never holds the only copy of your knowledge.
What the platform uniquely holds is smaller than people expect: the conversations people have with your Digital Employees, what each assistant remembers about each person, files uploaded in chat, and documents the assistants generated for you.
Your AI accounts are your own. Every AI service runs on a key your business brings, billed to you by that vendor, so there is no AI account of ours between you and your work.
The plugin that connects your website runs on your own server and is open source under the GPL, so you can read exactly what it does: github.com/a3rev-ai/def-core.
Where it runs
On Microsoft Azure in the Australia East region (Sydney). Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or later) and at rest (AES-256); secrets held in Azure Key Vault; automated database backups with point-in-time recovery; role-based access with strict isolation between tenancies; and a correlation ID on every request, so that any action can be traced.
Who else touches your data
- Microsoft: Azure hosts and processes the platform, and Microsoft 365 sends the platform’s own notification emails.
- Stripe or PayPal: payment. We never hold card numbers.
- The AI providers you choose: on your own accounts, for inference only, under your agreement with them.
- Composio, when you connect your own apps (CRM, mail, calendar): it holds the connection each person authorises, in that person’s name.
Nothing is sold, and nothing you give Widrow is used to train anyone’s model, ours included.
If you leave
Cancelling starts a thirty-day countdown with emailed reminders, and you can reactivate inside it. When it ends, everything of yours on the platform is permanently deleted, and only your invoices and the audit trail remain, for the period tax law requires. Your originals are untouched, because they were never ours.
If we disappear
Your knowledge sources are yours and untouched. Your AI accounts are yours. The plugin on your website is open source and keeps running on your server. And today, without asking us, your administrator can export everything held for any person as a file in one click, and erase it in one click, from Tenant Portal → Settings → Privacy Requests. Every person can also see and delete what an assistant remembers about them, themselves.
